The classic Italian herb great for pesto, salads, sauces, etc. Good for Asian cooking too. A rich soil with even moisture gives the best flavor and yields. Pinch the tops to harvest. This helps the plant branch out. Use fresh. If you cut extra, keep sprigs in a vase or jar and change the water daily. Do not refrigerate. Protect the plant from frost. Pick off all flowers. May be grown in a sunny window any time of year. Easy to grow. You can never plant too many!
